Disappear in complete disarray

Been having a weird patch of productive non productivity. Or the other way around. I've been painting, but I feel like writing a bit. It's been a while, and there is so much you can abstract in a painting so that you can circumvent the detail that you'd put in a story. But I get frustrated with other peoples lack of imagination. They either read a story or don't. But they invariably look at a painting and turn and say "so what's this about?". I am actually boring myself complaining about it.
