Plates and reclaim

Sheep in the mist. Plates, reclaim (freezing clay on my sore finger actually REALLY helped - bonus) making 3 new plates, make 3 because if you make 1 it'll go wrong. Had a great afternoon with Richard, spirits high. Itching to paint, probably start after a bit o' tea. Need to colour dust piggies, ha ha. so painting is a good distraction from that.

1st limited edition of the bird book has sold out.

So no more left. Obviously kind of said it all in the title of the post. It was limited to 30 copies, signed and numbered.

The draw

Can't sleep. Want to get up and paint. Went down and drew out the framework. Trying to appease my brain. But no. Can't get into it now or I'll be awake all night. Just need to get some sleep.

lazy day number 459693 (estimate)

finished my mammoth paintathon because my hand was going to fall off and i had achieve my main goal. had a lie in until 11 (gasp) had a bit of lunch and went and hung out with richard this afternoon and talked crap at him and passed him stuff, while he worked. which was nice. then got home and i fell asleep for ages then had a nice chat with my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend, then spent ages WASTING TIME on the GREAT ART WEBSITE (WHICH I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING OFF BECAUSE IT WIPED MY BASKET 4 TIMES) and that was pretty much my day. feeling a bit like i haven't done anything, but my body needed it. i guess today was my saturday, seeing as i worked all weekend. not that i really need to justify it. ha. ha ha. but i'm feeling in very good spirits, if a little tired.

Pretzel Logic?

Painted all day again. I am literally like the guy at the gym who ATE the rowing machine out of spite just because he could literally EAT a rowing machine.

bad metaphor? well i am tired and have emotional problems. BUT i ate a rowing machine. so y'know. whatever.

I need to give my website a good 'going over', but am too busy painting at the moment. So in the mean time i thought i'd post the un-balanced photos of the new cubes. which is nice.

The royal scam

Started work before 10.00hrs Finished just before 20.00hrs. Interlude for a wonderful bit of lunch. Interlude for a lie in the sun and a cup of tea. Really nice day. Getting up at 9.00hrs (latest) everyday really does increase productivity and constantly painting/potting increases positive mood. Long may it last.

i've been painting. hard. like a guy who works out loads and then goes to bed at a decent time. i don't want to go on about it. but i'm working really really hard. total focus. so not much to blog. i'm going to sleep in a minute. i'm pausing to rest and eat, but not much else. listening to steely dan. thank goodness they have a huge and AWESOME back catalogue. i may rest tomorrow because my hand is cramped up like a claw a bit etc. so i need to look after it so that i can continue work. it's really awesome to feel so inspired. will update website soon with new cube photos, ten new cubes came out, 9 were great, one i experimented to much with space and an idea that didn't work, but that's ok because if you want to make an omelette you have to shake a chicken. not that i condone shaking chickens. i really don't that is not sarcasm.

Awesome.

Road trip

Today Richard and I went on a road trip to cornwall to take my work to the mid Cornwall gallery. Which was Great. Had a really good doughnut and then a really good pasty. Listened to loads of steely Dan and got really inspired to paint. Worked out 4 new paintings, i'm working but will wait until the body of work is done and then post them all. Feeling much healthier at the moment from working hard and keeping to a sleep routine, which is also good because I'm off my sleeping tablets which means I'm not groggy in the morning so I can get a lot more done. Which is great.

Today in a punctuation-less line.

Did lots of pottery stuff Glazed cubes and in flames now so fingers crossed moved loads of clay and I did other jobs then did painting and watched a program and did computer shit and hung out with my friend cherise which was really nice.

Worked on some ideas for new work on the train. Couldn't do much writing because I didn't really need ct being read via shoulder. Got some structure and composition figured. Which is something.
