me moaning about crap and then moving into a moan about microsoft and apple.

did a new painting and worked on the illustrations for the book, which has slackened in momentum enough that i feel like i probably won't bother finishing it. at this point in time i feel like this, but that is obviously subject to change. I can't be bothered to take a picture of the new painting. partly because i don't feel like putting anything remotely worthwhile on my blog. which seems pretty redundant and stupid. but there we go. my computer has apparently reverted to steam power which is really really annoying. i don't know what has happened to apple. they seem to have dropped further to the microsoft standard of "lets make some more money quickly with inferior products and software and then we'll update it later to make it ok". well once there is a tried and tested alternative i'm switching, because no amount of pretentious design and smugness is going to win back this customer.
