Finished

The painting but not 100% sure of the results. It's much darker in colour and content but this is the path that was/is walked and I'm not sure how you ethically edit the ugliness out. I've tried to paint it beautifully but the content is abstracted to point it can be without becoming convoluted. So it's a no win situation really. I've had my first wave of real self doubt about this method and project. But will plough on regardless as the next piece will be lighter in tone and colour anyway.

So there we go. Hmmph. Kind of want to wake Jess up and ask her opinion. Something tells me that would not be the right move.
