went out to try and do a macro installation, but took the wrong camera lens, so couldn't take any photos and it was cold as shit anyway and i got ear ache. i only like the weather for about 4 months of the year. fresh and sunny. that's what i like. this epic coldness is rubbish at night for taking photos and the summer is too hot and it means that townies don't wear shirts on the train.
i remember when a cup of water was free in a cafe, you could get a real loaf of bread in the local shop and a bus ticket was less than the price of an egg . sigh.
then we baked cheese scones to shake off the winter blues. awesome. they are absolutely beautiful.
