Well the fog hasn't lifted re: painting etc. I mainly have 2 options, birds or music. Which I am currently neither inclined to do. I just want to be free. It's bizarre how you can do one thing and people suddenly go THAT, THAT IS YOU. then anything else is taken as a downward movement in the ability stakes. Surely progression and experimentation ( such as what led you to do what pleased the mighty gods of good taste in the first place ) are absolutely the main focus. If you condense the situation, do you invent cheese, then try cheese on toast - everyone loves that, so you now only make cheese on toast. Every meal, snack etc from then on is cheese on toast. Surely then you miss out on any subsequent cheese based culinary invention. What a waste. Not for me. I'm constantly progressing. Evolving, de evolving, whatever. But I'm sticking to my guns and not sticking to anything.
