One of my all time favourite music people jeff is apparently curating the ATP festival crap. And it's being held in minehead which is basically spitting distance (not quite). But I cannot, ney will not pay £170 for a fucking ticket. What the goddam hell is wrong with everyone? Music is supposed to be about getting together, playing songs, sharing your soul, giving soul food to others (except crap music which is probably for people who don't care enough). It's like the John grant debacle. Tickets were sky high, like out the stratosphere. Some people are like "that's because of music piracy". Well no actually that is bullcrap. Look at amanda palmer who offers her music for donation. It is greed. Pure fat stinking greed. Well fine. So I won't get to see the musicians I love play live. But I'll be comfortable knowing I didn't buy some exploitative festival dick a new blue pool table. Nope. That isn't any kind of trade off. Can't even pretend that. It's actually just shit.
