Jigsaw metaphors (not profound)

Painting is like a jig saw. That you have none of the pieces for. It's like you have every single piece of every other jigsaw and you sometime find jigsaws and put them together and other times you have to put on some steely dan and mash half another jigsaw into another and the crush some more bits on top. That's been my night using
