the only way i can work freely is to put the goal post to such an unattainable point that it will push and drag me to new places. find new ways of looking and seeing. new locations, new narrative. new birds with new lives and habits.
so the goal (drum roll) is to paint 100 paintings of birds. which is probably so unrealistic it might just work.
