i was listening to Séquence Voiture (Take 2) Sur l'autoroute by miles davis and there was a saxophone noise (combined with leafy drums) that sounded like an angry snake twisting it's body up out of leaves. which sounds like i'm being terribly pretentious but i was trying to think of something to paint. so i heard it like that and painted that. i was also having a huge tantrum at the time and damaged one of my good brushes.
